An antique floweresque pendant of miniature glinty olden Lasque cut Diamonds which we imagine likely French Provincial in origin and was once part of a larger jewel (perhaps an earring). Suspended from a 9ct yellow Gold ring (which we have added), the Diamonds are mounted in the Georgian style, each in a rosette of darkened Silver. The flower drop motif is very pretty and this romantic little jewel would make a very lovely gift.
Lasque: this expression used in the 1600’s refers to an irregular shaped or just slightly polished Diamond that came from India.

It measures 1.5cm lengthwise and hangs from a more modern vintage 9ct Gold trace chain measuring 20 inches which we felt had the right tone of mellowness to compliment (it weighs 5.92 grams). We can shorten the chain to suit if required.
